I’m Taylor — the person behind Basecamp, and the one who will actually be doing your books.
For 15 years I led financial planning & analysis inside growing companies. That means I built the budgets, forecasts, and monthly reports that leadership teams relied on to make real decisions — hiring, pricing, expansion, cash-flow planning. I lived in the numbers, and I learned how to turn them into a story people could actually use.
Along the way I kept meeting small-business owners who were brilliant at their craft but flying blind on their finances — behind on their books, unsure what they could afford, dreading tax season. They didn’t need a bigger accounting department. They needed one trustworthy person to handle the books and explain what they meant.
That’s why I started Basecamp. I bring the same rigor I used at the corporate level to businesses like yours — accurate books, clear reporting, and honest guidance — so you can spend less time worrying about your finances and more time building your business.
